The Te Araroa is a long-distance trail traversing the length of New Zealand, from the northernmost point on the North Island (Cape Reinga) to the southernmost point on the South Island (Bluff). It is about 3000 km (1860 mi) long, and involves some road walking, kayaking, and more! I’m starting my trip in mid-November.

Kaitaia to Kerikeri

Cape Reinga to Kaitaia

The bus to Kerikeri left at 7:30 am, and from Kerikeri there was another bus to Kaitaia.
